The Olympic bus in Tartu
The world’s most unique Olympic bus, born from a collaboration between the Estonian Sports and Olympic Museum, the City of Tartu, and Go Bus, offers passengers an exciting journey through Olympic history instead of a standard commute. It also holds the distinction of being the only electric bus currently operating on Tartu’s city lines.
Passengers on the Olympic bus can explore the history of the Olympic Games, including fascinating facts, symbols, mascots, and Estonian Olympic gold medalists throughout the ages. Additionally, residents can learn more about the upcoming Olympic Games, which will take place in Los Angeles in 2028.
At the beginning of 2025, the sports museum became the first museum in Tartu to be awarded the Green Key eco-label. In line with this, the museum and the City of Tartu are committed to a more environmentally friendly urban environment and encourage the use of public transport. The bus operates across various routes in Tartu.
